Hello Everyone!
Well I'm back home after a very difficult week that landed me in the hospital for 2and a half days.  It's so good to be home.  My doctor said that the nausea was quite unexpected and that the next treatment will be cut in half and she will give me an additional med to combat the nausea before starting the treatment.

I also had a MRI of the lumbar and thorasic spine to check for metastisis since I have been having some increased and different back pain.  That showed a small suspicious area, but since I've never had an MRI there before, there is nothing to compare it to.  They will repeat an MRI in 3 months to check for changes.

I went to see Mia when I got home from the hospital and she is even cuter than I remember.  I have a picture of her and hopefully many more coming as I get more skilled with this blog.  Hope your day is a good one and thanks for visiting me here.  Now that I've missed some days I need to get back to the holiday tasks like cards and decorating.  I can't believe all that I used to do.  My list is so much lighter than what I would normally be taking on.  It is what it is I guess.  I'm just glad I'm here this day :)

Love,

Bump in the road...

Hello everyone! Amanda here, just wanted to update everyone who may be concerned with what is going on.

This past Friday my mom had a new chemo treatment that did not sit well with her at all.  She has been really nauseous, preventing her from keeping food down.  We are at the hospital now so she can get fluids and plenty of rest (being home was too tempting for her, any chance she got she grabbed the vaccum or snow shovel--that's my mom! Non-stop).  So now she can relax, sleep, and eat.  They are watching her closely, and with time it will pass.

But the great news is Mia Noelle Marasch was born via c-section 11/27/2010 at around 4 in the morning! Beautiful. 6lbs 11oz, 20in, full head of hair!
